Lenten Reflections 3-3-24 Memorial of St. Katharine Drexel….Let us place ourselves on the altar of the Lord…”the Lord says, “Bring me what you’ve got.” Then we place it all on the altar”
Lenten Reflections 3-2-24 “Deliver us from evil” I really need God’s help. “Peter flat out lied. He didn’t “hedge.” He lied….”Deliver us from evil: It was the Lord who taught me to pray those words. I really need God’s help just to live one day well. Like today.
Lenten Reflections 3-1-24 “Peter was following at a distance.” What is holding me back from embracing the Cross of Jesus Christ? Am I at a distance from Jesus? Spend some quiet time with the Lord today.
Lenten Reflections 2-29-24 Give glory and praise on this extra day. Who do we say Jesus is? Allow God to enter the dark places of life and heal us. Ask God for help.
Lenten Reflections 2-28-24 Things have gotten out of hand. Turning to prayer when a good day turns bad. Seeking the face of God in moments of tragedy our pain. Jesus heals us, and the world. Amen
Lenten Reflections 2-27-24 We are, each of us, all of us, saint and sinner. “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” The book I am reading is “The Soul of Civility” by Alexandra Hudson
Lenten Reflection 2-26-24: I do believe. Help my unbleif. Grace and Mercy abound in God’s love. Help me, Lord, to see the blessing of your grace and mercy in my life.
